Thoughts on training – I think the training is fantastic, very well set out, and organised so well that as a student you learn the technique in such a short amount of time, and are able to do a model before you leave after 3 hours. As one other student explained - a person who has done threading for many years wasn’t able to train her well enough for her to pick it up, I think that just shows how well structured your training plan is, that within 3 hours the same student was able to understand the technique and implement it well enough to complete her first model at the training session. I just think it’s excellent! Practice is definitely the key, as long as students understand that they have to practice heaps at home, on family, whoever, to understand and be able to demonstrate the technique correctly, then they can’t fail. That is definitely how my confidence grew.

My overall assessment would be that I found the course to be thorough and far more intense than expected. It was challenging, which is a good thing, because it makes you realise the depth and complexity of the skill required in order to master the technique. It is definitely not an art that can be learnt in a couple of hours, and if a course were to offer this, then I would question it’s integrity and comprehensiveness.
The mere fact that we basically mastered this very complicated technique after our first session is a reflection of your teaching skills and your method of leaving us to “get on with it” without being too dependent on you, (while always knowing that you were there if necessary!). I have since found that doing upper lips and chins is a breeze that requires far less concentration, and I agree that learning the tricky brow bits first is a far safer way to learn the technique. I liked the formal step by step process of our training but enjoyed being able to have a laugh every now and again!
We are now in the process of educating our clients about what makes our threading service different to others they may have already experienced.
We are proud to incorporate this ancient skill within the context of a modern day professional beauty salon. And we are grateful to Get Threaded for making it possible.

I am loving threading. I feel like our clients worship us because we are doing something that no one else is doing and better than the few that are. I had a client the other day who was adamant that I was not going to thread her after (our previous threading lady) did her. I promised that I would not hurt her and finally she let me do the thread. Well she LOVED it and could not understand what I was doing to make it hurt so much less. At first she thought it was because I was not getting all the hairs but once she felt her skin and saw the end result she was amazed!

I found the intimate small training group to be very beneficial. I felt I picked it up quickly as it was individualized and as a new mother it has worked in very well because I am pressed for time. Using the head block to get the technique was good but using real models gave me a true feel. Can't wait for the next practical session!

Thank you very much, I’m very glad that I am now fully qualified in Threading – you know how passionate I am in Threading!!!
I was surprised by how different the course was to what I have done previously, it was a lot more detailed in most areas which was really good for me. I feel that I have learnt a lot more and reminded myself about a lot as well, which is always a good thing. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it and found that the learner guides were very helpful and full of information, the suggested research material was also very informative. I found it easy to use the online system, it was clear to follow and prompted you along the way to make sure that you were happy with submitting your answers.
It’s been a lot of work but very enjoyable, very informative and thought provoking. I certainly can’t wait to start the other two courses, looking forward to them.
Thank you again for all of your help and I really appreciate the very quick response on submission of my assignments and tasks, I found that very motivating.
