New York Fashion Week Brow Watch 2012

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is happening at the present moment in New York.

Fashion and Beauty are intertwined as many artists seek inspiration from what they see on these catwalks.

If you are a regular to this blog, you will know I don't agree when it comes to brows you should follow any trends....but.....................................................

'Your brows can follow the current trends, but as long as they are designed to suit YOUR features'

What does this mean? Currently the trend is thicker brows (fantastic beacuse as we age our brows lose thickness...conserve what we have been given ladies is what I recommend!)....following the thicker brow trend it is important that your brow expert tailors your thicker brow in a shape that fits your features. A thick brow would look out of place on fine delicate features but this doesn't mean you can't have a thicker brow...just one or two lines of hair thicker than your normal can make a huge difference and on delicate features will look like a thicker brow and up to date with the current 'trend'. I see trends as ideas...ideas that you can take a little of and adapt to suit you. That is a big difference than following a trend completely and then wondering why it does not suit you.
