Beautiful Brows #April 2012 - Sienna Miller

Each month The Eyebrow Expert will feature some beautiful brows and tell you 3 reasons why they are so beautiful!

 

#1- A Soft Angled Shape suits all face shapes. Sienna's face shape is oval but she does have an angular jawline so her soft angle shape has been softened to become more rounded. This draws you to her eyes instead of noticing the points on the face if the brow was highly angled.

 

 

#2- The thickness of her brows is perfect- not too thin and not too thick. They frame her eyes and her eyes are the main feature. When determining thickness, it is important to look at your hair, your body, the whole of you and match your brows accordingly.

#3- Balance. The start and ends of the brow are balanced so they are in perfect harmony for the face. The ends don't lift upwards which make you look surprised or downwards which make you look sad- these brows are perfectly balanced.

Eat, Pray, Love and Eyebrows......the search for 'perfect brows' begins!

I am kind of a strange person-kind of. When I watch television, a DVD or a movie, I spend more time looking for beautiful eyebrows than I do watching the program. When I go out or when I meet new people or clients, I am always on the look out for the 'perfect brow'. My friends tend to hide their eyebrows with glasses or long fringes/bangs so they avoid my casual glances. Please let me tell you though, I never judge people's brows- never, I just merely rub my hands together and hope for the day that you sit in my chair!

Well my documented search for the 'perfect brow' begins. What is a 'perfect brow' you say? A perfect brow has precise alignment, balance, shape, thickness as well as color. The 'perfect brow' is a brow that initially draws you in to the persons eyes and then you look at what is framing those eyes and you notice the eyebrows.

A 'perfect brow' is what I like to refer to as a perfect frame for that photo. Once the photo is inside that beautiful frame it draws your eyes to the photo but then you realise how stunning the frame is and together they form the perfect 'picture'. The brows are the frame to your eyes and making them reflect you as a person is the key and is individual for you. Individual for you because, no-one has your exact features so why should you wear the brow that everyone else has?

On the weekend, I sat down to watch the DVD Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts. I had seen it at the movies when it was released and as I had read the book, I was excited to see the movie again. As I love to travel, love to eat and loved the book it swept me away to Italy and to India, both places I will travel to one day and then last stop in Bali. The scenery was breathtaking, the story made me question my path and have a cry but the thing that stopped me in my tracks and kept me mesmerised through the entire movie was Julia Roberts eyebrows! (remember when I mentioned I was strange)

 

 

 

 

Julia Roberts eyebrows were absolutely stunning in this movie.

 

 

 

 

Perfect alignment(start, arch and end points)

Perfect balance(start and finish of brow even)

Perfect colour (1-2 shades darker than lighter hair)

 

 

 

 

If you are thinking to yourself about now....yeah yeah....this is Julia Roberts-she would have the perfect brow! Just because you are a celebrity they don't always get it right! But in saying that...this photo was in the 80's where big natural brows were the trend.

 

 

 

So my search for perfect brows now has one name on the list!
