World famous star with brows to match....

As a child star, Elizabeth Taylor had brows that most people envy.

Throughout her life, her brows were always shaped according to their natural shape which is softly angled, and they were full and dark.

Using your natural shape as a base, ensures you have a brow that suits you instead of trying to follow a trend that may not.

 

Above is one of my favourite photos.

Her eyebrow shape is softly angled, balanced and helps draw you to her eyes.

One of her most famous roles as Cleopatra, the brows were a focal point of the makeup.

Even though her brows were so thick and pronounced, they always suited her as these were the brows she was given naturally.

They were enhanced with subtle shaping.

In every photo.....always the same shape....her natural soft angled shape.

Even as she aged her brows remained the same, while many that went through the trends of shaving their brows off and drawing them on, never had the same brows again.

Elizabeth Taylor, who died on March 23, 2011, was one of the few real Hollywood stars with glamour and class and I will never forget those beautiful brows.

ARIA 2011 Brow Envy................

The Australia Record Industry Awards was on last night and the first thing I do when there is an award show scheduled is get ready to watch some brows! I know, I know, I am a tad sad but it's what I like to do and I won't be ashamed to say it to you! Chances are since you are reading this blog post you love eyebrows too! Ok, so here are the winners and...I won't say losers but for niceness sake, I will say they need a little eyebrow expert help!

Beautiful Brows Award

Rikki Lee has been a focus in our eyebrow training and I am so happy to see that her eyebrows have been transformed and are now stunning!

 

Lovely Brows Award

Natalie Bassingthwaighte's brows are always in place and the lines are so crisp I daresay she might just be a threading convert!

Colour Perfection Brow Award

If your hair is light, brows should be 1-2 shades darker than your hair, but if it is dark they should be 1-2 shades lighter. Delta Goodrem gets this just right.

 

Most Improved Brow Award

Still requiring some help in the balance and alignment departments, these are the best pictures of Kylie Minogue's brows I have seen in a long time!
